The value for money at Luna Country was great, with a cozy room and excellent facilities. The location was slightly away from the center, but it was nice to be in a quieter area. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Breakfast delights could be improved with a wider variety of condiments for cooking in the kitchen.

Nothing to complain about at all.

The hostel had a fantastic location, with beautiful views and just a short walk to the center. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The guesthouse was very cozy and clean, and we had all the necessary equipment in the kitchen to prepare our own meals. Plus, the WiFi was surprisingly good for the area!
The beds were a bit rickety and could use some improvement. The bathrooms didn't have functioning locks, towels, or soap, which was a bit inconvenient.

The rooms at Hostel Luna Country are cozy and comfortable. I loved the kitchenette, which had a fridge and microwave, perfect for preparing quick meals during our trekking adventures. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels was a nice touch too. the rooms felt like a home away from home.
Personally, I didn't really enjoy the shared bathroom. It's a subjective opinion, though, and I understand that others might not mind it.

I stayed at Hostel Luna for one night while doing the Fitz Roy trekking. The hostel has a cozy kitchen and lounge, and it's very clean. One of the best things about it is the opportunity to meet fellow travelers and feel at home. Plus, it's conveniently located near the Laguna Torre path, perfect for nature lovers. The owner was kind enough to let me keep my bags there while I went backpacking for a few days. The wifi here is excellent, a rare find in this area!
100% Recommend this hotel.

Luna Country was a great find in El Chalten. the host, Emilio, and his family were incredibly friendly and helpful. the location was convenient, with restaurants just a short 5-minute walk away and the bus station within a 10-15 minute walk. the hostel itself was clean and the heating was good. the facilities, including the bed, bathroom, and kitchen, were above average. But what really made this place stand out was the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, which made it easy to make new friends. Definitely the best place we stayed at during our time in Patagonia. Cons: Nothing to be said.

The hostel at Luna Country was a real gem. It's smaller in size, which allowed for a more intimate and friendly atmosphere. I quickly made friends with other visitors. The facilities exceeded my expectations, especially the comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and well-equipped kitchen. This place really stands out for its cozy atmosphere. It was by far the best place I stayed at during my two weeks in Patagonia.
Felt great, no complaints.

We had a wonderful stay at Luna Country. The hostel is located in a peaceful area, surrounded by stunning views and close to the start of various trails. The dormitory was clean and spacious, and the two large kitchens were a major plus. Despite the occasional WiFi glitch, we managed to stay connected. I highly recommend this cozy hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in El Chalten.

I stayed at Luna Country for a week while hiking in the mountains. It was a great experience supporting a local family instead of a big chain. The hostel is conveniently located near the Laguna Torre trailhead, making it easy to start my daily hikes. The warm and cozy atmosphere was perfect after long, cold days outdoors. The hostel was spotlessly clean and had charging points next to the beds. The kitchen, although small, had all the necessary facilities. The wifi was excellent, which is rare to find in this area. Luna Country provided great value for money and a peaceful escape from the busy center.
I do recommend this hotel.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved that Database Emilio welcomed us nicely and was always there to help us when needed. the kitchen was fully equipped and always clean, making it easy for us to prepare our meals. We also appreciated having hot water in the shower, which was a blessing in the cold Chalten weather. the hostel was extremely clean and comfortable, with a spacious room for the four of us. the common area was a great place to hang out and meet other guests who were friendly and sociable. the location of the hostel was perfect for quick access to the stunning hikes around El Chalten.
We felt well taken care of and have no complaints.

our second stay in el chalten was even better than before, thanks to luna country. the apartment was clean, modern, and had all the necessary kitchen supplies for cooking. being close to the hiking trail head was a huge plus.
Food theft from kitchen box.
